greatest megacity

DUBAI in one of the familiar city in the world .. Nowadays , this Global city and hub bussiness city are develope in many sectors such as their infrastructure , economy , tourism and many more ..

Don't get confuse , Dubai is actually one of the seven emirates in United Arabic Emirates or as known as UAE ..

During my primary school , i thought Dubai was in India .. maybe because the name of that 'Dubai' it seems likes more to Indian .. :)

Lets get back to the basic ..
First time know about this great megacity , i think Dubai is a very large city and big percentage of area because of their developement and big population ..
When i found and know deeply about this emirate , totally wrong ..

If u can see from the map above , Dubai is only a small city located on the Persian Gulf coast of the UAE .. It is roughly at sea level 16m / 52ft above .. This emirate was share borders with Abu Dhabi in the south , Sharjah in the nourtheast and the Sultanate of Oman in the southeast.

Like Malaysia and any other countries , Dubai at UAE also have their own official language .. Mainly they use Arabic language in their daily life .. However , seems English language was the world's language of communication , English is use widely in this emirate ..Majority residence religion in Dubai are Islam ..

See the picture above ? interesting and wonderfull .. isn't it ?

All of us know Dubai is very famous with their infrastructure and unique tower ..

al-Burj , Burj al-Alam , hydropolis and Trump are example of their unique infrastructure ..
Many of the infrastructure and places in this emirate are different from other state and have their own identity of places ..

-BURJ DUBAI-

- architech : Adrian Smith - 40% taller than the current tallest building , Taipei 101 ..
- a supertall skyscraper

-THE PALM ISLAND-

-BURJ AL-ALAM-

- as known as 'World Tower'
- hyperboloid skyscrapers at Bussiness Bay of Dubai
- design to resemble 'crystal flower'
- 74 floors at office space , high-end hotel and serviced apartments in the top 27floors - will also feature a 6-storey crown that will contain a Turkish bath sky garden, and other club facilities
- will completed in 2006

-HYDROPOLIS-

- the world's first underwater hotel was entirely built in Germany but then assembled in Dubai and scheduled to be completely by 2009 after many times delay
- situated 66 feet below the surface of the Persian Gulf, just off Jumeira Beach in Dubai.
- basically divided into three sections: the land station, where guests will be welcomed; the connecting tunnel, which will transport people by train to the main area of the hotel; and the 220 suites within the submarine leisure complex

In conclusion , there are more tower and infrastructure which is still under constraction ..
Dubai is the one place that have many attraction to the tourist ..

But in my opinion , is it possible to complete built all the weird , unique infrastructure in that emirate ? we will wait and see ..
And i also hope that i will go to Dubai for my future honeymoon :P
